Girl's In Action Leader

The Girls in Action (GA’s) Leader is responsible for leading girls in grades 1-6 to living out the GA Pledge (“Go Forward!”).  The purpose of the GA program is to teach girls that missions are at the center of the Christian life.  Isaiah 12:4 is the GA verse which states the purpose of the GA program (“…tell the nations what He has done”).
The Assistant Leader should be prepared to help the leader when needed with all responsibilities and duties.  This person must be able to fill in when the Leader is unable to attend.

  1. Study and prepare for each weekly lesson.  This includes praying for guidance as you teach and lead the GA’s.
  2. Plan activities for the GA’s to help them have hands-on missions experiences.
  3. Pray for the GA program and its members.
  4. Arrive 15 minutes before class begins to make sure the classroom is prepared and to greet the girls as they arrive.
  5. Be faithful to attend all worship services unless providentially hindered and actively participate in a Sunday School class.
  6. Be faithful to support the church with your tithes and offerings.
  7. Be diligent in your personal bible study and prayer so that your continued spiritual growth will set a Godly example for others.
